INCIDENT REPORT PUBLISHED 11/10/2021. INCIDENT RAISED: 07/10/2021 13:01. INCIDENT CONFIRMED AS MITIGATED: By 07/10/2021 15:30. SERVICE: Some BT Wholesale DSL circuits. PEAK IMPACT: Loss of Service. CONTINUOUS/INTERMITTENT (AT PEAK): Continuous. PEAK PRIORITY: P1 (High Priority). DOMAIN: Spitfire Internal. COMMONALITY: Some BT Wholesale DSL circuits. REPORT: At 1250 on 7th October the CPU utilisation on one of our BTW broadband LNS routers increased substantially resulting in poor performance issues for a large number of BTW broadband users. An emergency router reload was performed which restored service to the majority of affected circuits by 1350. At 1435 the issue re-occurred and IP engineers diagnosed the issue to a rogue CPE router on a customer site. Normal service was resumed at 1500 for the vast majority of circuits. CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: Not applicable. PERFORMANCE: We regret that, in line with our Service Level Agreement, no Service Credits are available.
